" Scottish Baskethilt prices vary according to basket style and complexity (all panels are handpierced) please inquire. Claymores start at $800 and the blades are 36 to 42 inches long depending on your height (average is 40 inches) with a 12 inch handle. A scabbard and baldric similar to the one shown in the photo comes with it. Basic large period dirks start at $200 and have blades 15 to 16 inches long and come with a plain leather scabbard. Basic small dirks with about 12 inch blades start at $200. The Scottish "Skein Ochles" is available well. These have shorter 6 inch single edged blade that were historically carried in a scabbard hung by a cord around the neck and down the back or up a sleeve. The much longer "Irish Skeins" are available as well. These have long 16 to 20 inch single edged blades with simple grips with a small disk guard. These are $200 and up.
" Swepthilt Rapiers start at $750 and up depending on the period and
style of hilt. Cuphilt Rapiers start at $650 and up. All come with
handfitted leather scabbards mounted at throat and tip ready to be worn.
Main Gauche and Ring Daggers start at $300 and up."

"Plain Viking period Swords start at $600 and up, blade length average 30 inches. Norwegian Long Saxes with single edged blades (not shown) start at $500 and the blade length is about 26-28 inches long. Short saxes start at $250 and up. The Bone handled Short Saxes with piercework/overlay decoration shown in the photos are $500 and up. The Viking swords with inlay on the pommels and guards start at $750. That is brass inlay on polished, blued steel. The decorative Viking Swords with hand cut piercework/overlay on grips,hilts and scabbards start at $1600. All Viking pommels are handsculpt and not cast with guards handforged. Bindrunes are available (Elder Futhark) to put on blades."
"Medieval Swords start at $500 for plain ones like the # 71, 76,78, and
79 swords. #12 Hand and a half Swords start at $750 and up...blades are 32
inches long with 7-8 inch handles. Medieval Daggers start at $200 and up,
scabbards come with these as well. Axes start at $150 and up. The Great Viking Axe with 12 inch curved blade is $250. Viking
period axes can have period inlay for extra (please inquire) All Axes
come shipped with leather blade covers. Spear and Lanceheads start at $100 plain and $150 polished.
These have handforged/tempered Spring Steel blades with mild steel sockets...These can be order with overlaid with piercework/overlay, $450. Viking Winged spears
are available and all spearheads are shipped with blade covers."
"Decorative options are extra and these include handtwisted wire wrapped grips, studding, decorative "Turk's heads" or sleeved with handcut piercework over the one piece hardwood grips for daggers and most swords. Bone or stag when available. Pommels and guards can be period "chisel" engraved (Kirby makes his own engraving tools) or have inlay or covered with handcut piercework/overlay. The handfitted leather scabbards will have metal mounts at throat/tip with rings for "Knightly" belts or left with a straight hang for all other belts. The metal mounts could have engraving or piercework/overlay. Viking Sword scabbards can be worn at a slant or left with a straight hang. Please be sure to let us know if you are right or left handed if any sword is to be worn at a slant. The leather scabbards themselves could be tooled or have "inverse presswork" applied. Many of the photos show some of the custom swords and daggers that we have decorated over the years showing some or all of the descriptions above as well as some plainer pieces."
